Oceano Shaders are great mid- to high-end shaders for Minecraft. The shaders add beautiful effects and vibrant colors to the game. One of the most notable features of this shaderpack is – you guessed it – the way it changes shading of rivers and oceans.
Oceano vs. Vanilla
Being a decent shaderpack, these shaders add quite a few features to the game. It adds features to water, which we’ll talk about more later on. Other features include shadows, crisp reflections, anti-aliasing, ambient occlusion and more. Overall, this shaderpack will remind most of BSL Shaders, with its vibrant colors and soft lighting.
The pack comes pre-equipped with a few presets or profiles. Toggling between these profiles, you will find the shaders will look different each time. So, if you’re not satisfied with the default look of the shaderpack, you can either change settings manually or choose one of the presets.
Rivers and oceans
This shaderpack adds many features, but some of its best features are the water parallax and reflections. With Oceano Shaders, you get beautiful rivers and oceans, with realistic waves and great reflections. On top of that, the shaderpack also adds a nice, vibrant color to water, making it stand out even more.
And that’s not it: the shaders also look great when you’re underwater! It makes object and blocks underwater a little more difficult to see, and subtly lets in some surface light. Also, when looking into the deep ocean, you can spot all kinds of sea life and underground structures.
