Voyager shaders, also known as Voyager 2.0, is one of the most realistic shaderpacks for Minecraft. It adds extremely realistic clouds to the game, as well as stunningly realistic water.
Voyager Shaders 2.0
Officially, this shaderpack is called Voyager 2.0, because it is an update and rework of the original Voyager shaders. Voyager 2.0 includes way more features than the original shaderpack did. Additionally, the creator noted the original pack had some shortcomings, which you won’t see with this shaderpack anymore.
This shaderpack is a high-end shaderpack, it includes lots of features, and it has basic texture pack support. Because of the texture pack support, it pairs well with realistic texture packs. You can use POM and PBR packs like rotrBLOCKS 256x or HardTop VanillaAccurate and get amazing realistic graphics in Minecraft. Using these texture packs with Voyager shaders will make it hard to even tell you’re still playing good old Minecraft!
Realism
That’s because Voyager Shaders are truly some of the most realistic shaders. They add dense, fluffy clouds that look very realistic, against a clear blue sky. The clouds will also affect lighting in-game, so that when a cloud covers the sun, your world will temporarily become darker. Now, you may never have even paid attention this, but not many other shaders do this! This level of detail is something that makes Voyager shaders unique.
Another feature, contributing to its realistic feel, is the great reflections in metallic textures, glass, and water. The latter is another feature that stands out; the water with Voyager shaders actually looks superb, it has a slightly light blue tint to it that works in almost any biome, from swamps to deserts. Because of that, when you encounter a small pool in a desert, you will want to jump in straightaway!
