Trippy Shaderpack is an experimental Minecraft shaderpack. It adds many strange effects to Minecraft, such as random coloring, distortion effects and world curvature. The creator of this shaderpack also made shaders such as Ominous Shaders and DOF Shaderpack.

Distortion, colors and more

Similar to Ominous Shaders, this shaderpack is a pack that adds strange effects to Minecraft. Features include world distortion, random world coloring and even waviness. Not waving of plants or water, but waving of the entire world.

And then there is a feature that make Minecraft a lot harder to play: World curvature. This effect changes your Minecraft world to be an actual globe. Speaking of trippy effects, in the comparison above, you can see what this shaderpack looks when all effects are maxed out (except for world curvature).

Is it playable?

And now the question you’ve probably been waiting for this entire time: is this pack even playable? At default or max settings, the answer is clearly: no.

But if you just play around with the settings for half a minute (there’s not that many of them anyway), you’ll have yourself a pretty playable – but still very strange – shaderpack.
