📦 Download Sildur's Enhanced Default
Sildur’s Enhanced Default is a simplified version of the Sildur’s Vibrant Shaders. Enhanced Default will run well on low end systems, whilst still adding great effects to Minecraft.
Enhanced Default includes features such as waving water, shadows, and a few other effects. Although this is a low-end shaderpack, it does not lack options. It even has texture pack support and other features, you’d only expect to see with high-end shaderpacks.
Sildur’s Enhanced Default vs. Vibrant Lite
Sildur’s Vibrant Lite is another one of Sildur’s shaderpacks. It is also aimed towards low end PC’s and works very well on such machines. So what’s the difference between the two then? Firstly, Sildur’s Vibrant Lite is a Lite version of the full Sildur’s Vibrant shaders. It will include similar features, but most of those are reduced in quality or completely disabled.
Enhanced Default is not a low end version of an otherwise more complete pack. Enhanced Default is the full pack. Instead of a pack with reduced or disabled features, you will get a pack that has features to begin with.
Shader presets: Fast vs. Fancy
Enhanced Default comes pre-equiped with two presets: fast (default) and fancy. The presets allow you to switch between two sets of preconfigured settings almost seamlessly. Simply put, Fast gives you higher FPS and lower quality graphics, whereas Fancy enables or upgrades certain effects at the expense of FPS.
Some obvious differences between the two presets are shadow quality and god rays. The shadow quality with the Fast preset will be notably lower, and god rays will be disabled all together. If you’re not satisfied with either profile, you can still change every setting manually. That means you can manually select to keep the low shadow resolution of Fast, but enable god rays.
