YoFPS Shader is a Chocapic13 shaders edit, with a huge emphasis on performance. The shaders look very simplistic and run extremely well on low end PC’s.

YoFPS: A Chocapic13 Edit

The YoFPS Shader 1.20.1 is a chocapic13 edit, which means the shaderpack is actually a chocapic shaderpack at its core. The creator of this pack used the code of the original pack and optimized it to run much better than the original Chocapic13 shaders.

The comparison above shows the difference, not between the original Chocapic13 shaders and this shaderpack, but between the already heavily optimized Chocapic13 High Performance Shaders and YoFPS shaderpack.

High FPS

Because this shaderpack is so well-optimized, it runs great on low end pc’s. Due to the lack of features and the amazing optimizations, you should expect this shaderpack to run at just a little less FPS than Minecraft without shaders.

The way it accomplishes this incredible performance, is by removing some key features of the Chocapic13 shaders, most notably: the shadows. Because YoFPS doesn’t have any shadows, your graphics card doesn’t have to worry all that much and will have a much better time running this shaderpack.

If you prefer a low end pack with a few more features, try downloading YoFPS High, instead of the more optimized YoFPS Low. No matter which one you pick, they will both run flawlessly on your PC. Make Minecraft look better, without sacrificing performance!
